We had a show last Sunday after my clay class. My new idol - The Astro Boy! Rayen happily eating pop corn before the show and fallen asleep 10min when the show begin all the way to the end.

Our "Bean Sprout" is more like a kangkong now... When you ask me did I water the vege, I will tell you my sis is helping me to do so. She will spray some into the plant and most on to her face.

Rayen's book is definitely more interesting for me at this moment. Mommy read a book and I read one too.

Tuckshop week update 3 - Learning a Lesson

I make magic, I brought S$1 to school and I bring back $1.1 with a cubic game. I have watermelon and orange too. I told mommy my friend give me money( she nearly fainted) and she told me I cannot borrow money from anyone and I can only get money from my parents or by hard work. She prepare 2 gold coins in my wallet and ask me to return it back to my friend today. I told her I did what she requested. (Good lesson learnt from both of us...)

**Mommy is grateful that my teacher call her to report on my behaviour in school, a mistake is done and we can't wipe it, but we need to face it and correct it. Finding the root cause is important but she feel that nagging to spend thing wisely is as important as not to take or borrow money to people. (Luckily is tuckshop week and not tuckshop month...*_*"

Tuckshop week update 2

Mommy's word...

Justen, mommy want to tell you that I am so proud and happy to have you as my son. I think Rayen is happy to be your sister too 8) You come back from school with 2 drawing tools. You bought 2 because 1 for mei mei which is red and 1 for yourself. Although our little girl spoil it within an hour but it really show that you have some thought for her. I am very "an wei" for that! But again the item you bought look interesting but not durable. So mommy need to nag again, please spend wisely and we keep the remaining in your "Tong Tong" for more interesting stuff ok?

BTW:this morning you told me that your friend spend all the single cent he brought to school, you sound a bit jealous but my dear son, you know you are at the right trek, and keep it up and don't feel sad.

Tuckshop Week Update - Give me but can't use it?

This week is our yearly tuckshop week 8) Monday mommy forgot to give me allowance to school, but she remember to do so on Tuesday, she told me use the money wisely. I bought a foam plane and left 30 cents in my wallet. She give me an additional 30 cents so that I have 60 cents to put in my piggy bank. She gave Rayen 1 dollar to put in her More More too. This morning she pass me another dollar and remind me to spend it wisely again. No toy or stationary, can buy food if I don't have enough. Bring back the remaining and save it. I called her at noon, I told her I bought a drawing material, I didn't buy toys and I keep some money back. Mommy praise me for my saving as for the thing I bought she didn't say much but ask me to show it to me when she is back.

Learning to spend wisely is really a "da xue wen" mommy is still learning too.

Swimming Update

5th lesson and I am able to push my head out to breath and swim without float for 4m, still need to learn on coordination but I think is a very good achievement. I am so proud of myself.

(Is really heart pain for both my parents to see me trying very hard to struggle in water, but no pain no gain at least now I can swim all by myself for a short distance. A clap from my sis too!)

Concert @ the Park - Story Telling in a Fish

There is a big fish @ Pasir Ris and I go into it tummy, what do I do inside? There is a story telling session. I enjoy very much but I am a little upset when mommy come to fetch me a bit late. See the foto on the left? Mommy took it outside the fish while I am inside there.

Kranji Farm Tour

We are lucky today as we are just in time to be stop by the red light, as a train full of Load is going to pass by. Due to the train I see a long long jam on both side of the road, don't think other driver will think that they are luckDo you see 2 little cute froggies? We are at the frog farm.

Don't know they are looking at us or we are looking at them. So many of them, some are really good jumper and some are going to a non returning trip.

Mommy initially plan to buy some polliwogs for me, but she see their size, she changed her idea just take a picture of them can liao. Meimei ask mommy to hand over her camera as usual. That answer why she can't take a good picture of meimei as she always very angry that she didn't get what she wants.

Both not very happy to take a pic, one 3 pic all bcc, one even look away trying to act blur.Everyone come here must take a picture.This goat force his head out to take a picture with me.We see so many plants and fruits in Long Zhu Guo Garden. Can you spot red long bean, lady fingers, Winter Melon, Grapes, Pineapple? Mommy even see Corn, chili and many more but I ask her to go back soon as there are too many ants coming our way.
Feeding Koi @ the vege farm. Their fish are really big and colorful.Do you see these drink in stall, not bad actually, is red long zhu gou drink, no fish, prawn also not bad... BTW they have white one too, but mommy love their red long zhu guo and she hate white de.

We have our lunch at Bollywood, this is their 3 in 1 Kueh, very yummy but please remember to bring cash as they don't accept net or visa, their dishes are cheap standard is around 5S$ with no additional charges. Anyway they are the only restaurant in Kranji farm so we have no other choice either 8). BTW their Indian Waiter are super efficient, they will come and clear your plate just after you take away the last pcs of food in your plate. They look contented with their job, thinking they might be part time waiter and full time farmer.

Brown Bear Brown Bear

Mommy took out "Brown bear Brown bear what do you see?" from the shelf. She planned to read it to Rayen, since I start to love this book around her age. I suggested to her that I do the reading. I recalled, I blend, I guess while reading the whole book. Mommy is pretty happy with that. As this is the 1st time I requested to "read" a book all by myself. To her is really a great achievement. I am still confuse with word with 2 vowels the only 2 sound I know are "ee" and "oo". Mommy using scrabble to teach me on that, is not easy but she believe I soon will be able to "catch some ball"... (Rayen is walking aroud, jumping around and disturbing Justen while her gor gor is concentrating on the book. She is born wild lah. Give her some time. She is more into peekaboo and 3D books. Actually she bring out more book to "read" compare to Justen.)

Daddy bought this for me during our Zoo trip, this is a gift for his promotion, he is not only our Engineer, he is our Principal now 8) (Daddy new roll:- Principal Engineer) He bought a white tiger for mei mei too.

Design Changed

This is the train that cut my chin when I was 18mths old 8( Mommy saw it on the shelf recently and due to the accident they change the design of it, the tunnel edge is smoother and the one I had is 2pcs now they mold it into 1.

My Plant

My teachers give me a pot of soil and some seed as my childrens' day present. I planted it on Childrens' day but only recently I see little bud coming out from it. I am excited and watering the plant is my daily job, so that it will grow up soon!

This pot of plant is amazing as I can even see the roots of the plants, very interesting and good to learn life science using a real plant!

Swimming Updates

Today is the 3rd lesson with Uncle Albert and I surprise them by swimming in the pool without float. Is a great step although is just a few metres. Mommy think that I did it well and I can kick myself up so that I am able to breathe.

They give me a clap for achieving that!

Afternoon Call

I called mommy everyday after I came back from school...

Justen:- Mommy, quickly come back home, I miss you!

Mommy:- Justen how is your day?

Justen:- I am fine 8)

Mommy:- Please help mommy to take care of Meimei.

Justen:- OK! Mommy bye bye! I love you!
(He don't talk much on the phone, but I will get really worry, like miss out something if he don't call. Love to listen to his voice.)

Book Rack

We are sourcing for a book shelf as our books are getting more and more and the current book shelf are overflow.

They found something good but after much thinking they didn't buy it for me, as it is actually a shoes rack, as per the seller he comments that the shoes rack can't support the books weight and it might topple. Kind of scary just to think about it. So they still looking around for a suitable one with the right price.

Please don't call me Uncle!

We are at Mc Donald, mommy ask me to get 2 spoons from the counter... I come back with 2 of them and I told mommy something funny...

Justen:- Mommy here is the spoons, and the gor gor say please don't call him uncle in future. (Giggling)

Cozy Corner of Mine

I built this house with Ma Ma and it is just next to my slide, so I slide into my house. Coolz right! Bought the slide from a w/h sales good price @ S$50.

Art and Craft for the day...

Today we went to Sengkang swimming pool, it was fun but all of us went into the pool so no foto taken.

After the swimming session we proceed to my clay class after lunch 8) Today I make a teddy bear for myself and a flower and heart for my mommy.

She wants me to sleep early at nite so we finished a canvas painting while daddy was sleeping.

Big turtle, small turtle... 6 boat which consists of all my family members. The big one with window is a ocean liner.

Ocean - Octopus, Fishes, Squids, Whale, Turtles or tortises, a volcano with lava, a volcano with bubbles, big waves and beautiful clouds.

New Coach - Uncle Albert

Do you see the person in the picture with mangoes on his arms? He is my new coach, Uncle Albert. He is more strict than Uncle Philip, and I can only learn in medium pool, not so happy about it, so i told my mom :-

I am ok with Uncle Albert, but I am not ok with the pool, can I learn in BB pool, please!!!

Anyway all the big guys feel that I can learn more from fierce teacher wor, and no one intend to take in my suggestion. Overall I am happy lah, as Jaden learn faster than me and he swim faster too, he will ask me to swim faster when he reach the side of the pool. I enjoy his company!

IMM

Is a far far away shopping mall with lot of carpark lots but all occupy. Nice play area and super yummy Japanese food 8)

Grasshopper

We found a grasshopper in our room. We wander how it get it way to here. Mommy caught it and put it into the box. I told her I want to keep it as a "PE(s)T" they rejected my request as we don't know what it should eat. So we released it back to the green.

(Side trek: I told mommy Leech will suck our blood, as we saw one in our school. Everyone is getting quite "excited" about the intruder and our teacher use a tissue and flushed it into the toilet blow.)

Clay Class Update

Lesson 3,4 and 5...

I make a boat with mommy and me, a crocodile and a tiger. I am looking forward to every sunday afternoon when my daddy drive me to Uncle GaRie's House. I will wake up from my short nap (10 to 15mins) without fuss. That will never happen when I wake up for my daily classes, normally I will drag and hesitate for a few mintues on my bed and I get really angry sometime. These don't happen during my clay lesson 8)

I am proud to present my work to everyone 8) I am ready to tell Uncle Garie what I am going to do in every lesson. Never run out of ideas. Mommy is happy thinking his money is wisely spend 8)

Zoo Trip on Childrens' Day 2009

My parents took leave today, and brought us to the zoo! I love zoo as I got to see all kinds of animals and I can ride on horse. I told mommy I want to see Giraffe, but I am too tired after playing at Kids zone so they bought me a Giraffe and bought meimei a Tiger 8)
